Kidney stone treatment is aimed at removing the kidney stone(s). Today’s treatments may break up the stones as part of the procedure but cannot reliably remove all of the stone pieces.1-3 Stone fragments left behind can lead to problems such as pain, infection, stone-regrowth, emergency department visits, and even need for another procedure.4-8

CVAC is an innovative technology that uses irrigation and aspiration to remove kidney stone pieces post-laser lithotripsy. The goal is to achieve a surgically stone-free outcome.
